Reading tools should work for every reader
Cody Reading serves students with different reading needs, and the educators who support them. We design for clear, flexible reading experiences and accessible everyday use. We also know our work is not finished: no third party has audited the full product, so we do not make a formal conformance claim today.
What we do
Automated checks during development
Our marketing home page scored 100 on Lighthouse's automated accessibility audit when last measured in August 2026, and every image on that page included alternative text. Automated tests cover only part of WCAG, so we use this result as a baseline—not as proof of conformance.
Designed for reading clarity
Reading material uses typefaces chosen for distinct letterforms. Teachers can also increase the text size and adjust spacing in generated stories to support the reader in front of them.
Keyboard and screen-reader foundations
We build with standard, labeled controls so the application has a sound foundation for keyboard and screen-reader use. We have not yet completed a full assistive-technology audit.

Where we still have work to do
We want school teams to know exactly what has—and has not—been independently verified.
- •No third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit has been commissioned, so we publish no conformance claim.
- •No VPAT or Accessibility Conformance Report exists yet. If your procurement process requires one, contact us and we will share our plans and timeline clearly.
